Poole town video

As this blog is called 'Pencil Portraits & Poole', here is a link below to Poole town's video which forms part of a bid for funding from the Mary Portas scheme to brighten up UKs high streets. There are glimpses of me drawing a busker. (Unfortunately, the actual drawing was a bit overworked and stale by the end of the session because I had to sit there for so long). The video suggests that bringing art & music into dead areas of the high street will help.

What an interesting blog, introduced by a thought-provoking photo. The unusual wall painting of the dwellings is
also a strangely modern interpretation. Something like this hieroglyphic view of a park by Swiss painter Paul Klee, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/

The image can be seen at wahooart.com who can supply you with a canvas print of it.
